Tricia worked as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist for the last twenty years. After completing her OB/GYN residency, she joined a private practice at Baylor University Medical Center where she worked until she became an OB/GYN hospitalist in 2011. In 2019, Tricia left Baylor University Medical Center to take a position as Maternal Medical Director and hospitalist site director at Methodist Richardson Medical Center. While working as site director and medical director, she gained both operational and managerial skills to make her an asset to the EQ Wealth Advisors team.
Education & Experience
Tricia attended Saint Martin’s University, in Lacey, Washington, on a volleyball scholarship, before being accepted into the University of Washington School of Medicine. After medical school, she spent a year learning Spanish in Spain and traveling Europe before returning home to start residency. She chose obstetrics and gynecology as her specialty and began residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas shortly after moving to Dallas in 2004. She passed her oral board exams in 2011 to gain her board certification. While working as a hospitalist at Baylor University Medical Center she acted as an associate professor for the Texas A&M medical branch working with medical students and she was one of the primary residency attending staff training the resident physicians.
Personal Life
Tricia was born in Colorado and moved to Montana when she was four years old. She grew up in Missoula, Montana and it was there she met Toby Harris in 1999 while he was playing in the minor leagues for the Missoula Osprey, an Arizona Diamondback’s team. Tricia married Toby in June of 2004, together they have three awesome children who are their whole lives. Tricia spends her free time watching her son play basketball and her daughters play tennis and lacrosse. She loves to take family vacations to visit her family in Montana, to spend time at her husband’s favorite place on earth in Canada, and to introduce her children to places they haven’t yet seen.
